This book may be for you. Or it may not.
When my mother was very little, my grandmother would sit on the floor, open a newspaper or a book, set my mother on the other side of it, and read to her. One day, my mother announced that she could read. She'd taught herself to read, following along -- but could only read upside-down and backwards.
I taught my daughters to read. The first one learned by recognizing big, rare words, like "Cinderella." The second one learned by sounding out small, common words, like "I" and "me."
Not everyone learns the same way.
What you're about to start is an unconventional approach to learning how to play. It works, and it works fast. I've been teaching it to folks for over thirty years.
But if you read a little of it and it's not working for you, pass it on to a friend and get something else.
